Random US State Generator

Geography quizzes, classroom cold-calls, road-trip bucket lists, "where should I move" games, draft-order picks for fantasy leagues — sometimes you just need chance to name one of the fifty states. This state randomizer draws with your browser’s cryptographic RNG, so every state from Alabama to Wyoming has an exactly equal 1/50 chance on every click. No patterns, no favorites, no Math.random() bias.

Each draw lands on a card with the state’s capital, two-letter abbreviation, traditional nickname, and approximate population and area — enough to settle a trivia argument or teach a fact along the way. Need several states at once, say one per team or per player? Set the count up to 10 with the no-repeat switch on and every state in the batch is guaranteed distinct, then copy them one by one or all at once.
